Intention/ Niat

everything should start with intention
you must know your intention
be clear with it..
and remember that intention does not justify means...

That conversation, in the end, gives me a whole new realization of the importance of intention...

A Story of Life

Nakamora's commute to work takes only about an hour. But during his drive today his mind travelled far more than an hour. Days, weeks, months, or even years. He symphatizes with his friend. It was last night. While talking over coffee his friend narrated to him a story of part of his life, or perhaps a lesson of life..

It could happen to anyone. He listened and listened attentively to his friend - his life story, which at some points he thought intersect his..

Not long after they met they get married, but after a decade the ship encountered rough sea. He is not a good navigator, captain. Situation, according to him, does not help strengthen, but reduces his ability to provide the leadership. He has thought of abandoning the ship, but stayed anyway -- at least a decade after they set sail together..

Nakamora, who has set sailed for much less time than that, thought it must be a good lesson to continue to listen. His friend has the ship anchored while searched for one that he can navigate. He was successful. He got what he wanted all along. A ship in which he is the captain, in which everybody would listen to him, would regard him to be so.

Nakamora wanted to stay and continue to listen, but for now he has just got to move as its getting late. His thought shifted what could be the reason for his friend behaving that way, he has no answer to that, he can only speculate. That's what he has been doing this morning until he realizes that he is already at the parking space at the place where he works.

Morning Mist

What a sight it was this morning.. the refreshing mist, a rare sight indeed.. he continues driving to his destination, but unlike the other "usual" days, Nakamora doesn't grumble of the traffic jam this morning - instead enjoying the fresh, pure, air, it seems..

But like the usual morning, or anytime he is at the wheel, he keeps on dreaming.. pondering on life.. usually he would stop by the Shell station Select kiosk to get something to eat - some snack for lunch, but today being in the month of Ramadhan, he skips that altogether. He nearly missed his sahur this dawn for waking up late - enough for just a cup of hot Nescafe and a few tamars. That will do until breaking fast. He doesn't need so much calories to move pen or pencil around papers, signing things, and all that.

People said that post office will close down when e-mail was invented. That didn't happen. Instead delivery business is booming - Fedex is there, DHL is there, Citilink too, etc. But the items they are delivering is no more letters but boxes of goods ordered through e-mails.
People said that meeting is not needed anymore, as teleconferencing is now possible..

Net Community

It is the same every morning.. driving to the place where we spend at least eight hours.. this is actually my very first posting and it feels great at least to have my thought being kept somewhere in cyberspace.. inspired by the many bloggers in Malaysia that I have searched through I decided to have a space of my own in cyberspace. Thoughts are meant to be shared, I thought.. well, at least some of it anyway..
